So, today, before beginning work on shooting the CIF Football games AT Angels Stadium, coworker and I showed up early and got seats, in the media section and happily roasted in the sun to watch the official introduction of Albert Pujols (formerly of the St. Louis Cardinals)...

– Newly signed Angels LHP C.J. Wilson, who grew up 10 minutes away from Angel Stadium, in Fountain Valley, Calif.
Wilson was apparently offered six years north of $90 million by the Miami Marlins, but instead took a hometown discount to play for Orange County.

…it’s not like he left your beloved Cardinals and went to some evil rival like, hmm… JOHN LACKEY! Clearly the management didn’t want to keep him all that badly or else they wouldn’t have let him become a free agent or offer so little, sorry ya’ll!

You can’t be mad at Pujols for taking the most money he could get. 98% of people would of done it. That being said, I respect the hell out of CJ Wilson for taking less money to play where he wanted to play. That doesn’t happen much these days.
